One thing no one told me about when I was younger is that the most challenging part of being an adult is figuring out what you will eat every day! Add a picky toddler to the mix, and it gets even more difficult. With that in mind, I set out to find the best Trader Joe’s foods for toddlers!

Every week I find myself struggling to come up with new and fresh ideas to keep my toddler and baby happy and full! Sometimes I don’t have the time to come up with homemade snacks and meals on my own!
I am a part-time stay-at-home mom as well as a working mom so I sometimes need toddler snacks and foods that I can grab and heat up easily.
My criteria for toddler snacks and foods require them to be relatively fuss-free in terms of preparation, and easy for my kids to eat. Luckily, Trader Joe’s is the perfect place to find easy toddler snacks and toddler-approved meals!
Next time you’re grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s, make sure to keep this list of toddler snacks and foods in mind!
1. Bambino Pizza
First on the list is Bambino Pizzas for the win! You can never go wrong with pizza, and these are super simple to heat up. These pizzas not only taste great to little ones but are also mom-approved too!
Little hands can easily grab these pizzas when cut into fours, and they come in cheese and pepperoni!
2. Mac and Cheese Bites
What toddler doesn’t love mac and cheese? These bites cook up to perfection in the oven, and have actually become a favorite for not only my toddler but for myself and our baby as well! Make sure to get more than one box! (You’ll thank me!)
I usually halve them for the toddler and cut them into little chunks for our 10-month-old.
The best part is they don’t create as much of a mess as regular mac and cheese!
3. Chicken Drummellas
Trader Joe’s kicks up their chicken nugget game with Chicken Drummellas! These nuggets are incredibly juicy and taste great!
Simply pair these with your toddler’s favorite sauce and you have a winning meal in the making!
4. Vanilla Overnight Oats
Trader Joe’s Overnight Oats are quickly becoming a breakfast staple in our home! I actually use these as quick snacks, and to keep myself full when working on the weekends as well!
My kids love any type of oatmeal so these are always a winner! Overnight Oats with no prep? Yes, please!
5. Colby Jack Snack Sticks
Cheese is so versatile and reliable in any form, but especially sticks! When it comes to toddler snacks this is a great option to keep little bellies full in between meals or heck even part of a meal!
These snack sticks also come in mild cheddar, yum!
6. Organic Fruit Sauce Crushers
Most moms love a good pouch for their toddlers. They are convenient for snacks, and to round out meals!
My toddler thought these were quite yummy, and we found them to pair particularly well with breakfast foods!
I’d say these are top contenders to our favorite Kirkland Fruit and Vegetable Pouches!
7. Bamba Puffed Peanut and Corn Snacks
Bambas have to be an all-time favorite Trader Joe’s toddler snack of mine!
Bambas are not only affordable, but they taste great! Additionally, they are not too hard for little mouths to chew!
8. Freeze Dried Strawberries
I will be honest, and say that freeze-dried fruit is one of my favorite toddler snacks! I love the variety you can find, but also the soft texture!
My toddler could survive on only freeze-dried fruit and frozen blueberries if he could. (I know, toddlers. LOL.)
Trader Joe’s also offers freeze-dried blueberries that we like too!
9. Fruit Leather Buttons
Can I just say that whoever created these fruit leather buttons is an absolute genius?
The “buttons” peel off paper that comes on a long strip. Not only do they taste great, but it doubles as an activity to keep your little one busy!
We love keeping these on hand when we are shopping in stores. It works as a great snack, but also something for them to do!
Finding easy toddler food and snack items can be a challenge, but Trader Joe’s has some awesome options you will definitely want to try next time you’re out shopping! I hope this list will come in handy next time you find yourself at Trader Joe’s!
